Chapter History

The Omicron chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha was founded on Brenau’s campus on January 14, 1911. The 16th link in the chain of chapters, we are one of the longest-standing chapters of ZTA. We celebrated 112 years of Omicron sisterhood in 2023.

Zeta is very active on Brenau’s campus. Many sisters are athletes, Brenau Scholars, senators, artists, actors, dancers, and STEM majors. We strive to serve our campus community and the Gainesville community by joining various campus organizations and volunteering our time to local organizations.

We wouldn’t be able to do all the wonderful things we do academically, athletically, artistically, or in the community, if it were not for our strong sisterhood. We each share the desire to see our sisters thrive and shine.
